Play and Learn with Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE)
For 50 years ECFE has been the place to connect with other families to share and discuss the joys and concerns of parenting. Licensed Parent Educators provide valuable information around child development and what to expect at every age and stage in the early years.
ECFE always includes a circle time everyone is greeted. We get to know one another through songs and stories. Early Childhood Educators provide age appropriate, play and learn stations that spark curiosity and exploration for children and parents to share together. You'll learn a lot about your child as you follow their lead in class. 
Classes consist of parent-child activity time, followed by parent discussion, which is led by a licensed Family Educator. Parent discussion will meet in a separate space during a two hour class. In 90 minute classes, parent discussion may be less formal since families stay together the entire time. Tuition is based on a Sliding Fee Scale which is determined by income.

READY! For Kindergarten helps participants prepare children with the skills needed to start and stay at grade level throughout their scholastic career.   • Only one set of materials per family.
  • Choose your class based on the age of your child on September 1, 2023.
Immunization records are required for ECFE attendance. Minnesota law requires children enrolled in early education programs to be immunized against certain diseases or file a legal medical or conscientious exemption. Please note instructions for submitting these forms in your confirmation email.
