ISD 191 staff monitor the weather carefully in all seasons, and prepare accordingly in terms of outdoor activities and the advisability of travel.
ISD 191 supports that a heat index of 90 degrees or above poses a significant health risk (National Weather Service). Summer procedures include: Proper and regular hydration, shelter and modification of activities engaged in depending upon the weather. All participants should apply sunscreen prior to arriving at their registered activity, and bring their own drinking water daily.

Schedule changes affecting summer class/camp will be communicated to registered participants by the instructor/coach and email from Community Education.

During the school year, when severe weather or other emergencies affect the regular school day, daytime community education activities or those that meet immediately after school are also canceled. Evening activities may be held if there is significant improvement in the emergency situation. Alerts are posted on the Community Education website. Information will be relayed through local television and radio stations, and social media. In the event an instructor needs to cancel a session due to unexpected events or illness, you will be notified by your instructor. Community Education and the instructor will work to schedule and notify participants of the make up class date.

Independent School District 191 has contracted with Account Liquidation Services to collect funds for returned checks. Charges related to returned checks are determined by Account Liquidation Services.

Visit the Class Registration Information Page for policies and videos on how to set up an account to register for Community Education classes.

A  $2 processing fee will be added to all credit/debit card orders. You will see this charge on your invoice prior to completing your purchase.
