Support for gender creative youth and their primary caregivers

Description:
Understanding LGBTQIA+
A free support group for gender creative and exploring youth (age 7-12) and their primary caregivers. 

The group will provide support and growth for kids and their accompanying adults. We will examine a variety of topics related to healthy expression and understanding of the LGBTQIA+ community. Facilitators are ISD 191 licensed Parent Educator Danny O'Brien and Shawna Bork.
Each meeting includes a large group discussion. Then parents and children will separate for facilitated conversations. 
It is FREE to participate. Pre-registration required. Only registered participants may attend. No childcare provided. 
This group was made possible by a Dakota County Collaborative Grant and Dakota Child and Family Clinic in Burnsville.
