The Tiny Tots preschool program philosophy supports and nurtures the growth of the whole child, including a child's cognitive, social and emotional, physical and creative development. There is an emphasis on developing social and emotional competence in the preschool years as these skills lay the foundation for success, for learning and for life.
Tiny Tots preschool uses the "Creative Curriculum" approach to plan program curriculum: a framework based on theory and research in the field of early childhood education. It provides a foundation for early childhood teachers when planning and implementing daily activities in the classroom. Core areas addressed in daily curriculum include language and literacy, mathematics, science and discovery, dramatic play, the arts, and learning with nature. Daily activities are geared to the age and ability of the individual child. A nutritious snack is provided daily.
The Tiny Tots program provides qualified teachers with four year degrees in early childhood or a related field, and program assistants who have a combination of education and experience with young children. We strive to provide an engaging, caring and safe environment conducive to learning.
