Learn about art mediums through nature and connect it to science principles through class activities. Depending on the weather some of the activities may include making sustainable nature sculptures, paint & dye color science, fiber weaving, clay creations, animal footprints, primitive art techniques, and more! Kids benefit from creative expression through art, science, and history. A mixture of indoor and outdoor activities so make sure to dress for the weather and wear closed toed shoes and long pants! Kids will take home most of their creations.
Bring to Class:
Bring a snack and water bottle each day.
Participants are required to self-check temperatures and attest to this health check prior to each class session. Any person who has not taken their temperature will be asked to leave the facility.
Participants will be required to abstain from entering the facility if their temp check is 100° or above, if any member of their household or they have been in contact with anyone who has had any COVID-19 symptoms as defined by the MN Department of Health within the last 72 hours
All adults and instructors are highly encouraged to wear masks while inside.
One guardian per registered child/ren will be allowed at class drop off and pick up. No friends or siblings permitted.
Once a student is checked in for class, guardians must leave the building and either wait in their car or leave and return to pick the student up at the end of class.
When class is completed, instructors will release students 1 at a time to their guardian. Please arrive close to the class ending time and avoid congregating in groups.
- Shortness of breath
- A fever (100.0 or higher) within the last 72 hours
- Sore throat
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of smell or taste
- Diarrhea in the past 24 hours
- Vomiting in the past 24 hours
- Upon arriving in the facility, all persons will be asked to wash hands with soap and water for 20 seconds or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer when hand washing stations are not available.
